Thanksgiving Vacation

Well for Thanksgiving break some of my family and I went to Sandpoint Idaho to visit my Grandma. We had a great time, we were there from Monday to Saturday. The weather was freezing so it seemed like most of the time we found ourselves laying by the fire relaxing most of the week. On Friday Danielle, Heidi(Travis' sister) and I went shopping. We got up at 4 o'clock and went to brave all the lines, in hope that we would get some good deals. First we went to Cabela's and it was sort of a disappointment. They only had a select few things that were discounted and the rest of the stuff was still overpriced. We then went to Walmart. The lines weren't as bad as I was expecting. Usually Walmart shoppers are pretty crazy, I guess we got there after most of them left, all the things that were really on sale were gone. We did manage to buy a few things. Then we headed over to Kohls to buy some luggage to pack everything that we bought. I got some sheets that are normally 169.00 for I think 50.00. which is a great deal, then I bought a suitcase that was 300.00 for 100.00. All in all I did end up saving a lot, so the wait wasn't so bad after all. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Last Sunday Connor was in the garage with my mom on the dad's motorcylcle wearing his helmet and his gloves.


This is Connor with a nylon over his face, after Rachelle got the bright idea to put it on him, it was pretty funny he actually liked wearing it around.

Well there hasn't been too many notable things going on the last few weeks, I just finished my 12th week of school which means that I only have 3 more weeks and then finals. I can't beleive that I am almost done with another semester! Anyway, Connor is doing great, he is getting more and more of an attitude everyday. Sometimes I wonder how he comes up with some of the stuff that he does, and then I realize wait I think do that exact same thing:) For an example he can instantly tell the difference between food that is sweet and food that is not, it seems as though he has a radar. I remember as a child being the worst eater, (I was so picky) and now I think that I am cursed with the same thing that my mom had to deal with. Here is how I found him one day while I was in the office.

Random Updates

This is our house, I know that this part of the building process always typically goes the fastest, but it seems like more than ever time is just flying by. They start the roof on Monday and then after that all of the inside stuff can get rolling, so we shall see if everything can stay on schedule.

My sister Danielle watches Connor on Tuesdays and Thursdays while I am at school and when I come to pick him up he can usually be seen wearing this around the house.


Mikey took the kids out for a late night ride, it was so cold but they didn't seem to care.

This is the bedding that I want to get for the baby. I am going to be putting Connor and him in the same room so I was trying to find bedding that had similar colors.

This is the bedding that I want for Connor. My nephew Jake has this same set and I love it.

This bedroom set is from Costco and it has been on the top of my wish list for a while. The Costco in Eureka had it in stock a few months ago. Their furniture usually goes on sale quite a bit compared to the website. But for some reason this set didn't last long this time around. So hopefully they will get their furniture items back soon, or at least after the Chirstmas season so I can have another chance at getting a good deal.

This is from Gap, I am in need of a new bag and this one is pretty reasonably priced.

A double stroller of course. My sister Danielle is the one that got me hooked on the BOB stroller. They are amazing, they practically push themselves.

Last but not least a new car seat. I really like the color of this one. It is the same brand as the one that I had for Connor.
