Baby Shower

Last weekend we went over to Redding to my cousin Jasmine's baby shower. She got a lot of beautiful things and I am sure that Mercedes will have more than enough stuff:) Well I decided to bring my camera, and had hoped that I could get some more practice with it.

Needless to say I have over 350 pictures, for any of you that are my friends on facebook, this post might not be very exciting for you, I already uploaded them on there. Anyway here are a few of my favorites....

This one was taken by Monica.

This one was taking by Monica too.

Jasmine and her beautiful crib, she has four weeks left and she is having a girl.

P. S I have no idea why my text at the top has a line through it and is underlined. Sorry I seem to be having difficulty with posting tonight.

A Sunny day

Last week when Mikey went to the auction he bought Connor and Teegin a pair of training wheels for Jake's old motorcycle. They were thrilled. He put them on the bike today and they rode around the neighborhood.

I love this picture of the boys. They look like they are having a conversation. Maybe they are talking about riding...? Here is Lucas getting in on some of the action.

Sorry for the picture overload. I just got another camera, and I am having a lot of fun playing around with it. I think I took almost 100 pictures in about an hour. I just need to figure all the settings out now.

Stolen

A few weeks ago Mikey and his brothers went to a super cross race in San Fransisco. So Natalie and I hung out at Sheril's house during the day. That night we went to dinner at Ronata's Creperie in Arcata, YUM. We stayed up till 1 in the morning watched a movie and talked. It was a really fun night. The next morning NOT so fun. I came home to find my clothes everywhere, my tv face down on the floor in the hallway, my night stand was gone through, my computer gone, my new camera missing, video camera gone...

At first when I walked in I thought "did we have an earthquake?" It didn't even cross my mind that someone would come into my house and take my things. I felt violated and really weird. I am really thankful that I didn't get inspired to stay home that night. I am  a wimp and I never stay home without Mikey. I couldn't have imagined being home in the middle of the night and someone coming into my home. I would have freaked out and I don't think I would be able to be home alone at ALL.

The reason for the lack of post has had to do with no computer. I got a computer on friday and now I need to replace my camera. Thank goodness for insurance. All of the things that got stolen were all gifts and that makes it harder and even more annoying that I have to buy everything that was given to me in the first place:(

Cousins

A couple of weeks ago Mikey and I were looking on the internet at houses in Redding and for a few days I thought about potentially moving over there. Although it would be really nice to live in a place where you could go swimming at 10 o'clock at night and sit out in the back yard and eat dinner by the pool, I don't know if I could move away from all of our family. I know that we are extremely fortunate to live next to all of our closest family members, and sometimes I forget that this is not always the norm. Connor and Lucas have 11 first cousins that live with in 5 miles of each other and they are together at least 3 times a week. These pictures are just  a few that I have of them together.

Sleep over.

These boys are going to be trouble. I feel sorry for their teacher when they go to school.

At Sea World last summer.

Today in the bath.

On our way home from Wedding Rock. The kids found these in the back of my mom's car.

Last year at Connor's birthday.

Party

Here are some pictures from the party we had yesterday. This is Lucas with his cake. He wasn't exactly thrilled about it either. I think he was the first kid that I have been around that didn't dig right in. He actually cried. I was shocked. Every time he has eaten treats, he goes crazy and starts doing his foot circles and waving his arms. Oh well, what do you do....

Luke with his favorite toy

Before the kids got a hold of the cake.

Can you tell what this kids likes yet? I swear everywhere we go he finds some sort of ball. Mikey and I were stacking wood today, and Luke was in the garage, and he was underneath boxes getting a football  that I had no idea was even there.

These balls are perfect for him. I am sure they will be everywhere. I don't know if I am going to be able to stand keeping them around, we will see.....

Opening presents

Cole at work. He hooked the wagon up by himself and was giving the kids a ride around the yard. I don't know why I was surprised by this. I think he does things like this on a daily basis. In his mind he is sixteen and has a car:)

The night of his birthday we were down at the Auction with Mikey. So we went to dinner at BJ's Brewery (yum). We met up with a friend and she hung out with us for the night. Doesn't Lucas look thrilled. I should have taken a picture of him after he ate the dessert. He loved it and wanted to eat the entire thing. I wonder who's kid he is.....?

We are having a birthday party this weekend with family and friends at my house. It will be interesting to have everyone over at the same time. I think I counted and there will be around 50 people with just family and a few friends. That sounds impossible but it's not :)

Mikey took this picture tonight, you can still see were his pacifier left indents in his cheeks. I shaved his hair off today, and he looks so much older in just one day:(

Brothers

This was last night when the boys were taking a bath. Mikey and I were in the laundry room and we heard the boys being extra loud so Mikey ran in there to check on them. At first he thought that Lucas was crying, because he was laughing so hard at Connor.

I love to see them play together. I think one of the best things about being a mom is to see your children love each other and I hope that I can teach them to be best friends.
