Catch Up

It's been a long time since I have even been on my blog, I was feeling kind of bad that I haven't been posting anything new so I was sort of avoiding even getting on the computer. Anyway yesterday my sister Rachelle got married at my parents house in Salyer so for the past couple of weeks we have spent almost all of our time up there getting everything ready for the wedding. Well it turned out beautiful!! She looked so pretty and everything for the most part went really well. We only had a minor interuption during the ceremony which was the only thing that didn't work out perfectly.
So the weekend started with Rachelle taking all of the Bridesmaids to a spa for the day and later that night we went to dinner at Plaza Grill. Which by the way they have really improved their menu and I have been enjoying it a lot recently. Then on Friday all of the girls drove out to Salyer and finished setting up all of the decorations. On Friday night we had rehersal and went to Cinnabar Sam's for dinner. Following dinner the girls went and stayed at a local B&B. We had a great time. All of the bridesmaids were awesome and we all got along great which is pretty amazing considering there were ten of us! Saturday morning we went back to the house and started getting our hair and make-up ready. It was so nice to be at a house and be able to relax and have a lot of time to prep for everything. All in all the wedding was amazing and I am kind of shocked that we have been planning for this for so long and now it is all over. I am not quite sure what I am going to do with all of my time.j/k
I guess I might have to go back to work now:)) I will post pictures of the wedding later.

WISH LIST

I RECENTLY SOLD OUR COUCHES AND I FOUND THIS SECTIONAL. I WOULD LIKE TO GET IT IN CHOCOLATE.

THIS IS THE OTTOMAN I WANT TO BUY BUT IT IS FROM POTTERY BARN AND I THINK THAT IT IS A LITTLE OVERPRICED. SO I AM STILL LOOKING AROUND.

I LOVE THIS WHOLE SET, THE BEDDING AND THE BED.

I LIKE THIS ENTERTAINMENT CENTER BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I LOVE IT YET.

Waterslides

This last weekend we took the kids to the Redding Waterslides. We went over on Friday afternoon. It was about 100 degrees which felt really nice. We stayed in my parents trailer in a park next the the water slides. We were planning on Saturday going to the park but the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. There was Thunder and Lighting for most of the day. We actually attempted to go the the park in the morning because it was still pretty warm. Well that didn't last long, it started pouring and it was pretty much miserable. So we went back to the trailer and the kids took naps and I watched movies. Around 3 o'clock that afternoon it began to clear up so we went back to the water slides. Then on sunday we went back again the weather was perfect and the kids were finally able to get to have fun.
This picture is what I woke up to on Sunday morning. I went to check on Connor and I found Cole and him in his play pen.

Summer Fun

Last week I took Cole, Carly, and Connor up to Willow Creek for a couple of days. Here are some of the Pictures of the kids on the slip-n-slide and Connor in the pool.

What was I doing 10 yrs ago...
Ten years ago I was 11 years old and was in the 6th grade. I had met Mikey in the summer of that year. I had had two so called boyfriends by that time. I started shaving my legs. Played basketball all the time, went to the lake, layed by the pool and didn't really care about anything other than myself. Those were the days.

5 yrs ago....
I had just got my drivers license. I was probably worrying about the next time I would be able to see Mikey without my parents knowing. My days consisted driving from Willow Creek to school everyday. Going to basketball practice, going to HealthSport and then going home.

1 yr ago....
Connor was 3 weeks old. He was waking up every 4 hours durning the night to eat. Which was better than the every 2 hours the first week. I was exhasted, but everything was so new and exciting.

Yesterday...
Now that we are living with my parents my mom usually writes me a list every morning. So Yesterday consisted of going to Target to get some grad gifts, I got Rachelle a present for her bridal shower, went to Costco, dropped the bridesmaid's dresses off to be altered for the wedding, went to the dollar store, went to ACE to get more lights for the wedding, worked in the office, blogged a little, visted Tasha, ate at Carmela for Dinner, and then went to bed.

Parents telling their kids not to do something and then being too lazy to get up and follow through, parents not doing their children's hair or at least combing it, lazy people, moody people, and people that lie.

A Day in the Sun

Yesterday Whitney, Natalie, and I went up to my parent's house in Willow Creek. The kids all had a lot of fun playing by the pool. It was 85 degrees which was perfect. It is so nice to be able to drive 40 minutes and be in warm weather. This was the result of the day.

Weekend in Santa Rosa

Well, a few weeks ago we went down to Santa Rosa for my sister Rachelle's Bachelorette Party. We left friday evening and stayed at the Double Tree hotel. On Saturday we rented a stretch Navagator and the driver took us to Sonoma to a couple Wineries. Then we went back to the hotel and some of the girls went to the pool while others went shopping. Then we all went to dinner later that night. The weekend was very relaxing and the weather was perfect. Here are a couple of pictures from the trip.
