Yard Work

This past weekend Mikey and Clay put in a sprinkler system in our back yard. Needless to say they had a few helpers.

Cole is getting so big. He is one of the most mature 4 year olds I know. He was so cute out there helping the boys, he would put the glue on the pipes and hold the things that they needed to use.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, and hopefully it continues so that our grass will have a chance to grow!

2 months

I took Lucas to the doctor today and he was 50% in height, weight, and head circumference. The nurse told me that she has never had that happen before. He weighed 12 lbs., was 22 3/4 inches long, and his head was 40.1 cm. He is getting so big and everyday he is more and more alert.

Here is a video of him talking.

Sunshine

I don't know if it was just me but it seemed like today was a lot warmer than the past few days. The sun was out and it felt so nice for the kids to be able to play outside and not have to wear a coat and a hat the whole time.

I talked Danielle into taking the kids to HealthSport to swim. They had so much fun going back and forth from the hot tub to the pool. Then we went back to her house and she made dinner while the kids played outside.

Lucas is doing really well. He is 9 weeks old now. I wish that I was better at taking more pictures of him. It seems like I took a lot more of Connor and I am kind of feeling bad. I will definitley try to be a little better at that.

He is a very mello baby and I love that he is smiling more and and starting to find his voice. He is sleeping from 8pm to 7am and I am finally feeling like I am caught up on my sleep. I will post more pictures of him later this week.

Dreamy Banana Cream Pie

I have always been a fan of Banana Cream Pie but I always forget about it. I made this yesterday. I sort of made it up, and it turned out pretty good.

Crust:
1 Package Cinnamon Graham Crackers
1/2 cup butter
3 teaspoons sugar

Filling:
2 bananas
1/2 cup caramel topping
1 4 0z package vanilla pudding (prepared)
1 Package of Cool Whip
1/4 Cup Pecans (Toasted w/brown sugar and butter)

Combined all ingredients for the crust and line bottom of a pie pan.
Slice Bananas and place on top of crust.
Drizzle 1/4 cup of caramel topping over bananas.
Pour vanilla pudding on top of caramel.
Slice the second banana and place a layer on top of pudding.
Spread Cool Whip on top of bananas.
Drizzle the last 1/4 caramel topping over the Cool Whip.
Last but not least sprinkle toasted pecans on the top of the pie.
Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
Enjoy

New House

I know that I have been a major slacker with updating my blog but I still have not gotten the internet. Here are some pictures of our house.

Uncle "Kay" and Connor. Clay is one of Connor favorite people. When he sees him he gets so excited and yells "Kay Kay Kay"

Connor outside in our "Mud pit" back yard

Like father like son. Connor is slightly obsessed with motorcyles. He not only loves watching them on tv but he loves looking at all of the magazines that his daddy brings home.

I'm Alive

I feel like it has been forever since I have posted. Wait I guess it has been almost a month! I can't believe that Lucas is 4 weeks now. He is getting so big. It is crazy how much bigger he is compared to Connor at the same age. Lucas is doing really good. It is so much different the second time around. I cant imagine how it would be like when you have four or five kids, I don't think you would even flinch when they made a peep. I feel like Lucas is a lot more mello than Connor was. He hangs for the most part of the day. He transitioned very easily into a 3 hour schedule during the day and 6 to 7 hours during the night. It seems like he sleeps a lot better than Connor did, but then again it might just be that I don't pay as much attention to all of the sounds that a newborn makes.

We moved into our new house about 2 weeks ago. And I still have not got cable, internet, or phone. So needless to say Blockbuster has been my new favorite place. I have recently started watching the series 24. And I'm addicted. I have almost finished the second series. It doesn't seem like that 2 seasons is a lot, but the first season had almost 30 episodes, that is almost 25 hours!!

I don't have my camera with me right now, but when I get the internet at my house I will post some new pictures of the boys and of my house.

I thought I should let everyone know that I am still alive and doing well.
