A couple of weeks ago Mikey and I were looking on the internet at houses in Redding and for a few days I thought about potentially moving over there. Although it would be really nice to live in a place where you could go swimming at 10 o'clock at night and sit out in the back yard and eat dinner by the pool, I don't know if I could move away from all of our family. I know that we are extremely fortunate to live next to all of our closest family members, and sometimes I forget that this is not always the norm. Connor and Lucas have 11 first cousins that live with in 5 miles of each other and they are together at least 3 times a week. These pictures are just a few that I have of them together.
Sleep over.
These boys are going to be trouble. I feel sorry for their teacher when they go to school.
At Sea World last summer.
Today in the bath.
On our way home from Wedding Rock. The kids found these in the back of my mom's car.
Last year at Connor's birthday.

Party
Here are some pictures from the party we had yesterday. This is Lucas with his cake. He wasn't exactly thrilled about it either. I think he was the first kid that I have been around that didn't dig right in. He actually cried. I was shocked. Every time he has eaten treats, he goes crazy and starts doing his foot circles and waving his arms. Oh well, what do you do....
Luke with his favorite toy
Before the kids got a hold of the cake.
Can you tell what this kids likes yet? I swear everywhere we go he finds some sort of ball. Mikey and I were stacking wood today, and Luke was in the garage, and he was underneath boxes getting a football that I had no idea was even there.
These balls are perfect for him. I am sure they will be everywhere. I don't know if I am going to be able to stand keeping them around, we will see.....
Opening presents
Cole at work. He hooked the wagon up by himself and was giving the kids a ride around the yard. I don't know why I was surprised by this. I think he does things like this on a daily basis. In his mind he is sixteen and has a car:)

-loves food.
-is the worlds fastest climber of stairs (at least that I've seen).
-plays really well by himself.
-LOVES his mamma (and I hope it stays that way).
The night of his birthday we were down at the Auction with Mikey. So we went to dinner at BJ's Brewery (yum). We met up with a friend and she hung out with us for the night. Doesn't Lucas look thrilled. I should have taken a picture of him after he ate the dessert. He loved it and wanted to eat the entire thing. I wonder who's kid he is.....?
We are having a birthday party this weekend with family and friends at my house. It will be interesting to have everyone over at the same time. I think I counted and there will be around 50 people with just family and a few friends. That sounds impossible but it's not :)
Mikey took this picture tonight, you can still see were his pacifier left indents in his cheeks. I shaved his hair off today, and he looks so much older in just one day:(

Brothers
This was last night when the boys were taking a bath. Mikey and I were in the laundry room and we heard the boys being extra loud so Mikey ran in there to check on them. At first he thought that Lucas was crying, because he was laughing so hard at Connor.
I love to see them play together. I think one of the best things about being a mom is to see your children love each other and I hope that I can teach them to be best friends.

On the Move
Lucas has been working on walking for a month now. He hasn't exactly mastered it yet but he can go about 15 or 20 steps in a row. He will be 1 year on the 12th of this month. WOW......

Christmas Time
Our family celebrated Christmas two days this year. We went up to my parents house on Christmas Eve morning and opened presents. Followed by a Prime Rib dinner that night. The next day, Christmas, we got up opened presents at our house. Then we went over to Mick and Sheril's to open presents from them.
Let's just say we all got plenty and I am glad that we didn't buy our own children much because they were well taken care of by their grandparents, ESPECIALLY in the gift department. Here are a few pictures from Christmas with our new camera that Sheril and Mick bought us. I definitely NEED to take some sort of class on how to operate it or at least properly:)
Our family of riders:) These are the bikes that my mom bought us. Mikey's has an attachment for Connor, and mine has a little seat for Lukey to sit in.

Connor loves his "bike rides." And asks to go on a ride daily.

The play set that my parents bought the kids. They are in heaven!
